Inside the Q park

       The heroes’
             hill

The Heroes’ Hill in Q Park Cebu, which is about a hectare in size, is only open by invitation or by request. It is not totally open to the public because they want to maintain it as a sacred and peaceful place. It is a place to give tribute to unknown soldiers, OFW’s and awardees of the Filipino Foundation from 1986-2003. An anahaw-roofed kiosk is visible inside the hill. It contains portraits of Filipino Statesmen and Philippine Presidents. The area is full of wonderful flowers and fish ponds.es’ hill

It’s so tired on that day, we rest for a while on the heroes hill then we plan to get in but were not allowed to get inside because they want to maintain it as a sacred and peaceful place. After 30 minutes we decided to walk again to go to the statue of Mother Mary. When we started to walked  Jerome take off his heels so that he can walk properly and he can join us, as we started to walk we enjoy the view and realized how beautiful the nature is. And when we look up the sky the sun is down it means  it’s a gloomy day.

       AT THE Q PARK….

The place has a very large statue of Mother Mary. It is very peaceful and has a scenic view which can definitely take your breath away. It’s now your time to reflect and unwind from your daily pressures from work at Q Park Cebu. The place is so captivating and truly a man-made paradise.

    ( Q- PARK AT COMPOSTELA CEBU )

Q Park is located in the northern part of Cebu Province. It is in the Municipality of Compostela, between Liloan and Danao City in the Philippines. This is an on-going project of Norberto Quisumbing Jr.’s family and the Norkis Group. It is “A legacy to the Filipino people and a place to remember” as the owners call it.

                                                                   GETTING TO Q PARK :

    > Getting to Q Park Cebu is quite easy. From Cebu City, go straight to Mandaue’s national highway, then all the way straight to Barangay Magay, Compostela. On the left side of the road, you can easily notice the big sign that points to the direction of Q Park. There are also a lot of locals who are found along the road and they can give you instructions on how to get to the area. Once you get to this corner road, you will need to travel about 3-4 kilometers to reach the entrance to Q Park Cebu. Before reaching the magnificent Mother Mary, you will pass the Heroes Hill where a guard will ask you some details and may look at your driving license or ask your name.

    SEPTEMBER 28, 2011 ( AFTERNOON)

We traveled from Liloan to Compostela in 30 minutes. There are two ways to reach the entrance which is 4-6 kilometer and the other one is 3-4 kilometers, so we choose 3-4 kilometer so that we can save our money. When we reach to the corner road of Q Park, we took a tricycle to reach the entrance of Q Park; we traveled about 3-4 kilometers. On the left side of the road, we easily notice the big sign that points to the direction of Q Park.

The cost from Mandaue to Liloan is    ----- Php. 65.00/4
From Poblacion Liloan to Compostela (discounted)    ----- Php. 35.00/5
Tricycle (from corner road to entrance)     -----Php. 100.00/5

Q Park at Compostela Cebu is a 200-hectare land and is inviting the public to view the wonderful area for free. It is open every day from 8 o’clock in the morning up to 5 o’clock in the evening. Since the complex is under development, everyone is advised to be careful always. On-going renovations are the Girl’s Camp and Boy’s Camp which is very perfect for recollection/retreat activities, the resting area, the station of the cross, the nativity cave and the heroes’ hill and the road.

    STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

Life is a series of steps. Things are done gradually. Once in a while there is a giant step, but most of the time we are taking small, seemingly insignificant steps on the stairway of life.

This is the first stairs we take just to reach on the top, and there is also a shed that you can have to rest, every shed we rest for a while then continue to go just to reach on the top. Fun loving, passionate, always ready to lend a helping hand with a smile – this is how we are everyday even the trials struck us still we stand and go forth. But more than these, we also listens more advice for us to know what our mistakes in life just like taking the step here at Q park encourage each other to go on and reach on the top..

    gOING UP

    REST FOR AWHILE

    STAIRS

WE can almost see it, that dream WE'RE dreaming but, there's a voice inside OUR head saying, WE'RE  never reach it. every step WE'RE taking every move WE  make feels lost with no direction, OUR faith is shaking, but WE ,WE gotta keep TRYING WE gotta keep OUR head held high.

    "circle of friends.."

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand.  The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.

     circle of friends

on that day, we forgot to bring water, so we find a faucet near at the C.R
so that we can drink  we use our hands because we don't have a glass
hehehe how embarrassing that day.. i will never forget the memories we spend..

giving the best part ... another...

“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something we must always remember. we are braver than we believe, stronger than we seem, and smarter than we think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. I'll always be with you.”

    "NEVER FORGET"

AFTER OUR BONDING THERE, WE CAN SAY THAT IN GOD'S CREATION SO AMAZING BECAUSE SO WONDERFUL INSIDE IN Q PARK, AND THE SECURITY GUARD GIVE US THE TIME LIMIT BECAUSE ITS TIME TO GO HOME NAH... DARK NAH...

WALKING AGAIN .... I NEVER FORGET THIS MEMOIRS IN Q PARK

People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness.  Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost.
     THANKS GOD WE'RE DONE INSIDE
    MOST AWAITED
    SNACK TIME
    LOVE IT...

    The happy have whole days,
    and those they choose.
    The unhappy have but hours,
    and those they lose.

    "nATure"

We sometimes stare at the sky and wonder why we have made such a mess of things.  We wonder how we can tear up the seas and use up the trees all in the name of progress.  It is such a tragedy that we are damaging things so fast and they will soon be way beyond repair.

It is very sad to think future generations will not have the natural things to enjoy as we have had, and that they will be paupers when it comes to the offerings of the natural world.

But, preserving nature is one thing ... appreciating it is quite another.  There is so very much beauty all around us to see, touch, and hear.  Nature is so miraculous because it is always changing.  No matter how many times you look at something, it is always different.

Nature can set a sky aflame at sunset or magically transform a familiar landscape into a snow-white wonderland.  It can paint a rainbow in the sky, paint beautiful autumn colors on trees, or paint a clump of daffodils in the grass with glow of soft sunlight.

"WE truly admire the natural beauty of the world around. Sometimes, we just have to stop to smell the FLOWERS and take the time to enjoy the breeze. This lens gives US the opportunity to share with everyone the pleasure WE get from observing and taking in gorgeous scenery. Enjoy !"

    " wE'Re GoiNg HOme"

we're staring out into the night,
    Trying to hide the pain.

we're going to the place where love

And feeling good don’t ever cost a thing.

And the pain we feels a different kind of pain.

    we're going home,
Back to the place where we belong,
And where our love has always been enough for us.

    we're not running from.

No, we think we got this all wrong.

we don’t regret this life we chose for us.

But these places and these faces are getting old

    So we're going home.

    Well we're going home
we enjoy this day as part
of a journey in life.. at last we survive in our blogging thanks a lot..

^_^ THANKS FOR LISTENING & WATCHING GUYS ^_^
